Dr. IBEYAIMA INNOVATION AWARD

Permanently sponsored by MAC; Biennial, Rs 20,000/-, memento, a citation

In memory of (Late) Dr. Ibeyaima Hijam, a MAC member from Whitby, Ontario, Canada an award has been instituted by MAC to cause socio-economic development driven by scientific innovations in Manipur. This is a tribute to Dr. Ibeyaima in recognition of her contributions to MAC as an enthusiastic member and to scientific literature by authoring a research based book “River basin morphology”.

The award will be given to outstanding scientific innovations in process/product in Manipur biennially. Administered by a Trust under the Manipur Science and Technology Council, this award will carry a citation and a memento and a cash prize of Rs 20,000/- which will be topped up with Rs 2000/- every subsequent award year.
