MAC ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS FOR BANGLADESH

MAC instituted the award to enhance academic performance and competitive spirits of the Manipuri students in Bangladesh. MAC is appreciative of the struggles facing the Manipuri society living as a small minority community in Bangladesh and hence, this award is designed on a merit-cum-economy basis to help meritorious but financially challenged students.

The award is administered by an Award administration Committee formed by a group of notable Manipuri Leaders in Bangladesh. The award commenced in 2012 with the fund contributed by Anantakumar Singha from Montreal, Quebec, Canada in the name of the Gopi Foundation, Bangladesh.

The award carries:

1. A cash award of 7000 BT
2. A Medal
3. An Honour Scroll
4. Six years’ honorary membership of MAC
